Versus the Week of June 29

By July 1, 2020Versus The Week

Hey guys, Maevri here!

All of our Developers are working hard on new titles, updates, patches, and more this week – most of which I can’t share with y’all yet unfortunately. I do have some news about socials, sales, and updates from the Almighty devs. Check it out:

GRAB YOUR WALLETS AND BULK UP YOUR LIBRARY: IT’S STEAM SUMMER SALE TIME

I’m sure you already know, but I’m here to say it again: THE STEAM SUMMER SALE IS LIVE! It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year when we spend a couple hundred bucks and add tons of great games to our Library that we swear we’ll get around to one day.

I’m happy to inform you that this year many of our games are on sale for less than $10, so you can get the entire Versus Evil collection without breaking the bank.

Tell me more about Almighty: Kill Your Gods already

Okay fine

Earlier this month we revealed our newest title Almighty: Kill Your Gods during the Guerrilla Collective Digital Showcase. Since then, the community response has been overwhelming and awesome. When I say I’m excited to show y’all this game, it’s not just me speaking as the CM for Versus Evil. This game is SO COOL.

Obviously Almighty is still in development so there’s not much I’m allowed to discuss. But – keep your eyes peeled later this week for a development update from the talented folks at Runwild Entertainment. They’ll give some insight into what they’re currently working on, what to look forward to in the coming weeks, and hopefully answer some questions you may have about the game.

We’ll also be releasing new content for your eyeballs each week. Whether it’s videos featuring different game mechanics, cool gifs, or concept art and screenshots, we’ll make sure you get your fix one way or another.

If there’s anything you’d love to see more of, or if you have any questions about the game, make sure you let us know on Twitter or Discord! And while your at it, head over to Steam and add this to your wishlist – you don’t want to miss this one.

More Socials Are Always (?) a Good Thing

How do you do fellow kids?

As Community Manager, it’s my responsibility to make sure I’m connecting with as many members of our overall communities as I can. With that in mind, I have finally created a Versus Evil subreddit! Head over to r/VersusEvilGames and join this brand new community. It’s here for you to share your experiences, questions, original content, and whatever else you think is relevant to any of our games. For my part, this will be another place to find news and updates from our team (including these weekly blogs).

That’s all for this week!  As always, if you have any content or questions please feel free to reach out via our socials. You can stay in touch with me and the team by joining our Discord and following us on Twitter, Reddit, and Facebook.
