We’d like to thank the Pillars of Eternity community for continuing to give us great feedback. We had previously stated that work on the Switch version was at an end, but we wanted to make sure that the Ranger class was working as intended. We reached out to a new development team to troubleshoot the problem with fresh eyes.
We’re happy to share that we now have a fix for the non-working or disappearing Ranger pet. With this update, the issue should be fully resolved, so be sure to install it before continuing your adventure in Eora!
For those wanting to resume a playthrough, when you load into a new area, your ranger’s pet will be recalled and appear for you to continue using. Players who start a clean game will not encounter any issues with the Ranger pet.
