You already know the Versus Evil name, but who exactly are the people hard at work behind the scenes to bring you the best indie games around? Well, allow us to formally introduce ourselves!
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be using this space to share fun little bits about our team in order for you to get to know us better. We look forward to meeting you!
And what better way to kick this series off than with employee numero uno? When new hires join the team, we often joke that Lance “came with the building,” and that’s kind of true! After Versus Evil opened shop in 2013, Lance was the first official hire, so he knows all the secrets. He just doesn’t give them up easily… or without tequila.

How long have you been at Versus Evil?
Over 8 years.
What do you do here?
Work with our developers to help them finish their games as well as get their games on to other platforms.
What’s your favorite game of all time?
Age of Empires 2.
If you could design your perfect game, what would it be like?
An RTS with a good blend of Mirco and Macro management.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
I do a lot of hunting, as well as just enjoying the great outdoors and all it has to offer.
Do you have any pets?
Negative.
